Why We Built This Site

North Carolina provides several public access routes, but each route answers a different question. Moore Detention publishes custody data, the Clerk keeps filed charges and outcomes, and SBI maintains fingerprint-supported state history. NCDAC handles state prison and supervision records, while SBI also publishes the state registry. We bring the verified contacts, official search links, known fees, and request steps together without treating these separate files as one database.
